I have been so out of touch for the last two months. I’m so sorry. You see, all of the sudden we had to move (landlord wanted to sell the house though we had 2 years left on the lease). Life got hectic and we had to fast forward ideas that we were kicking around for the future. Of course we didn’t just move up the road or across the town, we disrupted everything and moved 800 miles!
Now that life is normalizing somewhat (very little, actually) I am promising myself that I will keep this up. Wish me luck!
Oh, and here’s some art…

I found a way to keep myself very busy. I love being able to lose myself, for hours, and just listen to the universe and freely create. It’s a journey with many possible directions and no road map. Peace and love, lkb
Yes, I know, the crab isn’t blue. This bold beauty is 18×24 gallery wrapped canvas with collaged paper and acrylic paint.
Peace and Love,
I had the opportunity to camp on Long Key last March. Nothing beats a tent on the Atlantic. Strolls along the shore introduced me to loads of hermit crabs, man-o-war, gulls, herons, pelicans, oysters, horseshoe crabs, and a canoe trip where I saw a sea turtle. I was so excited about the turtle I almost tipped and neglected to identify the species.
This is the first in my new series, “A Walk Along the Shore.” In this series I hope to share a love and fascination with everything ocean. Included will be graphite drawings and mixed media paintings. I draw from my 35 year love affair with marine life and countless visits to beaches throughout Florida.
Walk with me, won’t you?
peace and love,
